Thought of you when saw the release of MT 3.0 yesterday in hope that you would have already downloaded and be testing. I look forward to your comments on the usability of 3.0 and, if you have any, on the licensing issues.
The licensing terms for commercial applications is drawing huge flack on the Internet. The big issue appears to be those who blog for hobby and are maintaining multiple blogs with numerous authors. The individual and free licenses will not cover them. So in some cases they are pushed up to $600 license.
For company like me, I am just grateful that Six Apart got their act together enough to clarify terms of developer's license. I had talked to them about this since last year and was always told once 3.0 is out, licensing terms will be cleaned up.
