Convert a Windows Media file to MP3?

I have a Windows Media audio file (.wma) that I’d like to convert to MP3. Anyone have a simple way to do it? Once I have the conversion done, I’ll share the audio — it’s of a recent event that I think people will want to hear.

  2. Rick,

I am sure there is a better way but lo-tech boneheads like me do this:

    1. Burn the .wma file to a CD, then
    2. Rip the CD to mp3

It ain't elegant but it works.

  3. Google "convert WMA to MP3"

You'll find a ton of freeware that will do it very easily.
